With a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Diploma in Wealth Management and Financial Planning, Stephen worked at the Bank of America for 2 years. Taking a break from his corporate life he started a home made sausage business, profit from which was used to teach life skills through football to the less-privileged in the outskirts of Jabalpur. After realizing the need to gather experiences at the grassroots he applied and became an India Fellow. As a fellow of the 2017 Cohort, he worked with Kshamtalaya Foundation in Rajasthan on activating the inactive government schools in one of the most marginalized tribal areas called Kotra. He also taught mainstream subjects to the children by incorporating SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) elements through interesting ways. He has a D License in Football from the AIFF (All India Football Federation), and loves playing Video games, cooking and exploring new places!
